HAYSTACKID to Sponsor John and Abigail Adams Benefit Saturday January 25th

HAYSTACKID is pleased to be sponsoring and more importantly participating in this year’s John & Abigail Adams benefit hosted by the Boston Bar Foundation January 25th, 2014 at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.  I encourage colleagues and friends to join us and check out this worthy cause.  Click here for more information. Close to 1,000 members and legal business professionals and guests will have access to the Museum’s permanent collection, admission to special exhibits and an exclusive pass to the “Art of Americas” wing. All of these exhibits will present the backdrop for an extraordinary evening of dinner, drinks, music and dancing.

In short, the event is the Boston Bar Foundation’s (BBF) signature fundraiser for supporting the delivery of legal services to low-income and under-served individuals and families.  Last year the John & Abigail Adams benefit raised over $600,000. That amount helped to fund grants to 24 Massachusetts community organizations providing legal services in areas such as immigration, domestic violence and homelessness.

About the Boston Bar Foundation:

The BBF has a strong history of supporting and funding programs that promote innovation in legal services, enhancing access to justice for the under-served and supporting the public interest activities of the bar. As the independent, charitable arm of the Boston Bar Association, the BBF’s mission is inspired by the values of professionalism, service, compassion and responsibility—values that all attorneys owe to themselves, to their peers and to their community.
The BBF is uniquely positioned to identify and fund legal service programs and public service initiatives that will have the greatest impact on our community, and is able to strategically direct resources and funding to areas and organizations that effectively address the most pressing needs.
