Celebrating the People Who Make HaystackID Thrive: A Thanksgiving Message from CEO Hal Brooks

As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to reflect on the year we’ve had and the people who made it all possible. At HaystackID, our success isn’t measured only in milestones or innovations—it’s defined by the strength of our community. This includes our dedicated employees, our trusted partners, and the clients who inspire us to push boundaries every day. This Thanksgiving, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who makes HaystackID not just a great company but a truly extraordinary place to work, grow, and make a difference.

Our People: The Heart of HaystackID 

At HaystackID, our people are the cornerstone of everything we do. They’re innovators, problem-solvers, and collaborators who consistently rise to meet challenges with ingenuity and heart. Take, for example, Vazantha (V) Meyers, our Vice President of Discovery Services, who was honored with Relativity’s 2024 Inclusion Innovation Award. V’s work in fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) within HaystackID and the broader legal tech community has been nothing short of transformative. Or, look no further than Laura Danielson, our Vice President of Sales Operations and Revenue Enablement, who was a finalist for Relativity’s Stellar Women Award. Laura’s commitment to mentoring women in legal tech has inspired many, including her daughter, Amber, who now thrives as a Senior Discovery Consultant at HaystackID. Amber shared in a blog post: “As long as I can remember, my mother has shown great determination, resilience, and stamina. I am extremely proud of her accomplishments as my mother, and I am even more honored to call her a colleague in the legal industry. She is an inspiration!”

This spirit of giving reflects our commitment to making a difference within and beyond our immediate communities. Last year, we partnered with the Cancer Hope Network for Giving Tuesday, supporting their mission to empower cancer patients and their families through peer mentorship. Building on that tradition of impact, we’re expanding our efforts this year by matching every donation made on Giving Tuesday.

Similarly, this year’s company-wide coat drive began as a simple idea and grew into a powerful demonstration of unity across our global, remote workforce. Together, our team donated over 200 coats, providing warmth and comfort to hundreds of individuals in need. These efforts underscore how, at HaystackID, we strive to make a meaningful impact beyond our everyday work.

These stories are just a glimpse of the people who make HaystackID extraordinary—individuals who go above and beyond to empower others, build community, and drive progress.

Innovation Driven by Collaboration 

This year, we’ve also seen remarkable achievements fueled by the collaboration and ingenuity of our teams. HaystackID’s innovative solutions are not the result of any one individual—they’re the product of teams working together, sharing ideas, and finding creative ways to solve complex challenges.

For instance, our advancements in new technologies, like Core Intelligence AI™, that solve complex challenges for our clients are only possible because of the collaboration between our multiple teams. Their ability to anticipate client needs and deliver solutions that simplify workflows and reduce costs for numerous industries, from construction to white-collar investigations to higher education.

Beyond the technology, it’s our people who bring these solutions to life—whether through late-night problem-solving, proactive client consultations, or simply being there to offer support when it’s needed most.
