From TAR to LLM: Driving More Efficient eDiscovery: #DataUnmasked ACEDS Expert Discussion with HaystackID’s John Brewer

By HaystackID Staff

When HaystackID’s Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer and Chief Data Scientist, John Brewer, joined ACEDS #DataUnmasked livestream in March, generative AI was just beginning to make waves in the legal technology industry. Since then, the technology has become more refined, addressing challenges in accurately identifying responsive electronically stored information (ESI) and enhancing review processes. Brewer will join ACEDS #DataUnmasked host Michael Quartararo again on October 10 to share how advances in large language models (LLMs) are enabling legal professionals to automate tasks that traditionally relied on Technology-Assisted Review (TAR) while maintaining and in some cases exceeding, the precision and efficiency expected in eDiscovery workflows.

During the conversation, Brewer will dive into the obstacles LLMs still face in handling the nuanced legal complexities required for a successful eDiscovery review. The pair will also discuss HaystackID’s recent launch of Core Intelligence AI™, which offers a comprehensive approach incorporating advanced workflows designed specifically for eDiscovery while maintaining transparency and accountability.

Don’t miss the conversation to learn about how GenAI has progressed over the past year and how Brewer and his team are creating solutions that meet and exceed legal professionals’ evolving needs.
