Laura Danielson joined HaystackID in 2020 and is currently the Director of Client Services. She brings over three decades of experience to the litigation support technology arena. Danielson has substantial experience in all areas of litigation, specializing in consulting, best practices in litigation technology and support, and trial advocacy for corporations and law firms. In addition, Danielson is a published author, a frequent speaker, and instructor and is considered an industry expert on litigation technology and support. Danielson is a former litigation paralegal and project manager and has participated in over 100 trials in Federal and State Courts nationally. She has been on numerous winning trial teams, with her work focused in the areas of intellectual property, product liability, toxic tort, and complex litigation. In addition, she has worked on mock trials, focus groups, arbitrations, and assisted counsel in preparation for mediations.

+ Sarah Pons — Vice President of Business Development, HaystackID

Sarah Pons joined HaystackID six years ago and currently is the Vice President of Business Development at HaystackID. Before joining HaystackID, Pons was the Director of Sales at Envision Discovery, where she was responsible for all sales of litigation support services to new and existing law firms and corporate legal departments throughout the country. Pons has over 18 years of experience consulting legal teams on the best ways to handle the collection, filtering, processing, review, and production of eDiscovery and paper documents. Pons has held roles at companies including IKON Legal Document Services, Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., and Tech Resource Group, Inc.

As the president of ACEDS, Mike leads the organization and is responsible for the overall administrative and operational oversight of the organization, including program development, training and professional development, and strategic partnerships. Considered among the top legal technologists in the US, he has spent the last 20 years leveraging the power of technology to meet the current and emerging needs of organizations throughout the legal community. He is also the author of the 2016 book Project Management in Electronic Discovery and has been successfully consulting in information governance, e-discovery, project management and legal technology for all of his career, including 10-year stints at both Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP and Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP. For much of his career Mike has been training and educating lawyers and other legal professionals in the benefits of technology to the legal profession. A graduate of the State University of New York, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS). He frequently speaks and writes on e-discovery, legal operations, project management and technology topics. Mike is an avid foodie and enjoys cooking and reading when he isn’t focused on developing new policy initiatives and educational offerings.
