Ashish Prasad is Vice President and General Counsel of the electronic discovery and document review company HaystackID. In addition to his work in the areas of complex litigation and electronic discovery, Ashish serves as a co-investor and strategic advisor to legal technology and services companies, and the venture capital and private equity investors in those companies. Ashish’s current projects include a forthcoming case book, Complex Litigation and Discovery Management, and a scholarly article on the intersection of the federal civil rules and litigation technology. Ashish graduated from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was a Member of the Law Review, and the University of Michigan Honors Program, where he graduated with High Honors and High Distinction.

As the president of ACEDS, Mike leads the organization and is responsible for the overall administrative and operational oversight of the organization, including program development, training and professional development, and strategic partnerships. Considered among the top legal technologists in the US, he has spent the last 20 years leveraging the power of technology to meet the current and emerging needs of organizations throughout the legal community. He is also the author of the 2016 book Project Management in Electronic Discovery and has been successfully consulting in information governance, e-discovery, project management and legal technology for all of his career, including 10-year stints at both Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP and Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP. For much of his career Mike has been training and educating lawyers and other legal professionals in the benefits of technology to the legal profession. A graduate of the State University of New York, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS). He frequently speaks and writes on e-discovery, legal operations, project management and technology topics. Mike is an avid foodie and enjoys cooking and reading when he isn’t focused on developing new policy initiatives and educational offerings.
