Reviewer Selection Overview

Inspired’s Reviewer Selection Program assures customers get best available review attorneys to work on their critical matters

Inspired Program

After receiving a qualifying score on ReviewRight which projects Precision/Recall and Productivity, attorneys make the GOLD team.

After 3 engagements, with an average metrics score of 3.5 or above, attorneys make the PLATINUM team and get an elevated compensation.

After 3-6 months of working with Inspired and being successful on QC/Log Teams, attorneys can make Mentor/Mentee Team Lead/RM Program, for an
additional pay increase.

Finally, after several successful matters, attorneys can become an Inspired Review Manager and get another increase in compensation and responsibility.

Review Managers

Team review structure with teams of 1st level reviewers led by a QC team lead that is responsible for quality control and ensuring instructions from outside counsel and Review Manager are understood and followed.

At least 1 Review Manager should be assigned to oversee each team with the lead Review Manager of the case being the lead point of contact.

Typically 1 QC/Team Lead for every 10 people

Inspired Review also has very technical Review Managers that have administrative rights to the database to help develop and streamline more productive workflows.

Review Team Selection

Background checking: criminal, credit, licensing, education.

Work history and reference checking: at least 3 references.

Document review skills testing: utilize past case metrics and provide “dummy documents” on case before start of review.

Second Level, QC, Team Leads, RMs – good to use contract attorneys with 3‐5 years of substantive knowledge on subject matter being reviewed: provides better efficiency, risk management, and knowledge transfer to legal team

First Pass Review: less substantive tends to be more efficient: look for skills of speed reading, issue spotting, comprehension, and quick decision making.

(AM Law) in the United States.

A top five AM Law firm needed immediate assistance to address a requirement driven by a DOJ Second Request to consider almost five million documents and produce the appropriate documents in the earliest possible time as part of an end-to-end discovery project. The complete project required processing, review, and production of information from a hosted repository of 4.7 million records.

Synopsis

HaystackID supported by Inspired Review met the DOJ Second Request requirements for a top five AM Law firm by reducing an initial data set of 4.7 million records by 93% through predictive coding into a manageable data set of 329,000 documents. The 329,000 remaining documents were expertly reviewed by a targeted team of highly qualified review attorneys who completed the final review in 10 days, four days ahead of project schedule enabling the corporate client to be in full compliance of the second request requirements.
