Mike Bryant
Operating Advisor (Knox Capital)
Mr. Bryant completed an Executive MBA program in Product Development at MIT’s Sloan School of Management and has a BBA with Honors from University of St. Francis where he played intercollegiate tennis.
Mr. Bryant was trained in Fortune 100 settings with increasing sales, operations and general management responsibilities at early stages of his career. His successful creation of new divisions and corporate development experiences helped to fuel and propel start-up and growth companies. Finally, through Knox Capital, where he is an Operating Advisor, Mr. Bryant invested in Haystack.
Prior to the recapitalization of HaystackID, Mr. Bryant was Co-Founder & CEO of nSource, a Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) firm that was boot-strapped over a five-year period. nSource was profitable within its first year of operation thanks in part to an industry-first, multi-million-dollar contract to design and manage the North American back office service center for one of the top 10 law firms in the world.
nSource was successful in consulting and implementing across a wide range of large law firm back- and middle-office services including accounting, risk management, IT, research, marketing, and administrative support. After four years of more than 40-percent growth per year, nSource acquired a law firm accounting outsourcing business that accelerated nSource’s entry into law firm billing and AP/AR services. Mr. Bryant, his co-founders and team of law firm operations/technology experts were recognized by Inc. 5000 as one of the fastest-growing companies in 2016 and nSource remains a leader in the law firm consulting/services sector.
Before starting nSource, Mr. Bryant was President of Legal Services at Integreon, a $100M per year global leader in business process services supporting the legal, financial services and corporate marketplaces. He joined Integreon through their acquisition of CBF Group where he was CEO. Prior to CBF and Integreon, Mr. Bryant served as EVP of Strategy & Business Development at Bowne Business Solutions (NYSE:BNE), a $300,000,000 BPO provider. Bowne purchased Donnelley Enterprise Solutions, a $100M IT, Litigation Support and BPO provider (NASDAQ: DESI). Over this 10-year period at DESI and Bowne, he held general management and business development roles, culminating in a global executive role responsible for Sales, Marketing, Strategy & M&A.
He began his career at Eastman Kodak Company where he spent a decade in sales and management roles with Kodak’s multibillion-dollar B2B systems division, culminating in an early-stage role in Kodak’s entry into the BPO sector through the establishment of Kodak Imaging Services. He was responsible for leading KIS’ growth of the law firm market.
