Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and dependable IT Project Coordinator with light procurement support responsibilities to help keep IT initiatives on track. This full-time remote role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys organizing work, tracking progress, and maintaining clear communication across tasks and systems. Approximately 75% of the role will focus on project coordination, with the remaining 25% dedicated to procurement tracking and support.

Essential Job Duties

Project Coordination (75%)

  • Track tasks, timelines, and deliverables for IT projects using tools like Asana or Excel.
  • Maintain project documentation such as meeting notes, task lists, schedules, and status reports.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, capture decisions, and follow up on action items.
  • Communicate with internal IT team members to keep initiatives moving forward.
  • Assist with reporting and updates to IT leadership.

Procurement Support (25%)

  • Process IT-related purchase requests and assist with purchase order tracking.
  • Monitor order statuses and update internal records to reflect current delivery timelines.
  • Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receipts, flag discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized procurement documentation and assist with basic spend tracking.
  • Communicate with vendors as needed for documentation or delivery confirmations.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, or IT operations.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Asana, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, or similar platforms.
  • Comfortable learning new systems and following structured processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in growing within IT project coordination, operations, or procurement.

Education and Experience Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.

Level/Salary Range

$58,000 – $79,000 ($28-$38/hr)
