Position Summary
The Analytics Consultant at HaystackID offers expert-level support and strategic guidance to clients, applying analytics across the EDRM model. Serving as a Subject Matter Expert in structured and conceptual analytics, TAR, and workflow design, the consultant implements best practices, participates in client meetings and legal proceedings, and contributes to business development alongside the Sales team.

Tier I Responsibilities
- Craft defensible, statistically validated solutions aligned with client goals and budgets.
- Serve as internal/external SME on analytics, TAR, and Managed Review workflows.
- Draft/revise TAR protocols and defensibility declarations for court/regulator submission.
- Provide support on analytics and review tools.
- Ensure accuracy and quality through verification and communication with stakeholders.
- Support Sales/Marketing with budgets, presentations, and client RFI/RFPs.
- Mentor team and deliver internal training.
- Develop SOPs for analytics services.
- Evaluate and implement analytics/review/AI technologies.
Common Tasks
- Consult on analytics solutions, TAR workflows, and technology use.
- Build search queries and help with TAR document identification and exclusion.
- Perform TAR 1.0/2.0 validation protocols.
- Maintain documentation including workflows, protocols, and reporting.
- Provide metrics: Precision, Recall, F-Score, Elusion Rates.
- Troubleshoot analytics workflows.
- Deliver training to internal/external clients.
- Handle administrative tasks including audits, billing, and project validation.
Qualifications
Required
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Bar Admission (good standing in at least one U.S. state)
- 7+ years eDiscovery consulting
- 5+ years with Relativity
- 5+ years using TAR platforms (and explaining workflows)
- Proficient in Relativity workspace setup (analytics, dtSearch, coding, permissions, etc.)
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Skilled in O365, web apps, timekeeping software, regular expressions, and advanced Excel
- Willingness to work outside regular hours and travel (domestic/international)
