Near Duplication and Email Threading

Between 30 and 50 percent of files are near duplicates, translating to huge hidden and extraneous costs during discovery. Data Filtering and Culling

Indexing documents allows for word and/or phrase search. HaystackID Filtering and Culling Methods


The removal of operating system and program files, along with other non-user created data, as specified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (“NIST”).


Duplicate documents and/or redundant documents can be removed from the set on a custodian or global level.

Data Range Filtering

Filtering documents within a specified date range, either based on creation or last modified date.

Keyword Filtering

Metadata fields and document contents are searched for specific keywords.

Privileged Filtering

Email addresses or specific names are eliminated from review collection based on privilege status, allowing for quick removal of attorney-client correspondence.

Custodian Identification

Custodians are identified through several methods to streamline and structure review. Custodian are either isolated or brought to the forefront of review based upon relevance.
