SUMMARY:[Webcast] Today’s Privacy Reality: AI\, Assessments\, Breach and DSARs (February 15\, 2023)
DESCRIPTION:HaystackID Educational Webcast \n\n \nToday’s Privacy Reality: AI\, Assessments\, Breach and DSARs is a webcast that will bring together a panel of experts to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on privacy and cybersecurity. The panel will address the ways in which AI is being used to assess privacy risks\, prevent data loss\, and respond to data subject access requests (DSARs). \nThe panel will begin by discussing the role of AI in assessing privacy risks. This is an increasingly important task in today’s world\, where the amount of data being collected and stored by organizations continues to grow. AI algorithms can help organizations identify potential privacy risks and take steps to mitigate them. For example\, an AI system might be able to analyze data sets to identify patterns that could indicate a potential privacy risk\, such as a customer’s personal information being shared without their consent. \nNext\, the panel will discuss the use of AI in preventing data loss. Data breaches are a growing concern for organizations of all sizes\, and AI can play a role in helping to prevent them. For example\, AI algorithms can be used to monitor network activity for signs of a potential breach\, such as an unusual spike in data traffic or the use of unauthorized protocols. If a breach is detected\, the AI system can alert security personnel and take steps to prevent the loss of data. \nFinally\, the panel will discuss the role of AI in responding to DSARs. DSARs are requests from individuals for access to the personal data that organizations hold about them. This can be a time-consuming process for organizations\, particularly if they receive a large number of DSARs. AI can help streamline the process by automating the search for relevant data and providing the necessary information to individuals in a timely manner. \nThis one-hour educational webcast will provide valuable insight into the ways in which AI is being used to address key issues in the realm of privacy and cybersecurity. The panel will discuss the benefits and challenges of using AI in this context\, and offer practical advice for organizations looking to incorporate AI into their privacy and cybersecurity strategies. \n\nExpert Panelists \nChristopher Wall\nDPO and Special Counsel for Global Privacy and Forensics\nHaystackID \n \nChris Wall is DPO and Special Counsel for Global Privacy & Forensics at HaystackID. SUMMARY:[Webcast] Now You See It\, Now You Don't: eDiscovery Challenges and Apple's iOS 16 Release
DESCRIPTION:HaystackID Educational Webcast \nNow You See It\, Now You Don’t: eDiscovery Challenges and Apple’s iOS 16 Release\n\nDate: Wednesday\, October 19\, 2022\nTime: 12:00 PM ET/11:00 AM CT\nRegister Now: Click Here to Register\n\nThe release of Apple’s newest update to its operating system\, iOS 16\, delivers new features to iOS that allow users to alter and possibly even delete messages after they have been sent. These new capabilities have existed in other applications for years and are nothing new to investigators in mobile forensics. Disappearing messages and crawl-back functionality in email and chat messages have been around for quite some time. These cloak and dagger security capabilities are common in third-party applications used by criminals\, security-centric agencies\, and governments across the globe.
