DESCRIPTION:Join HaystackID as we partner with The Sedona Conference as a Working Group Annual Sponsor and participate in the WG11 Annual Meeting in Phoenix\, AZ on April 25-27\, 2022. \nThe meeting’s primary focus will be on new drafts and brainstorming group outlines in need of WG11 member review and comment\, including the following topics: \n\nWhen are ransomware payments illegal under current U.S. law?\nModel data breach notification law\nBiometric privacy primer\nNotice and consent – biometric facial recognition data\nPrivilege Commentary\, Second Edition\n\nIn addition\, the meeting will feature the following sessions: \n\nCoordination of multiple litigation and regulatory fronts arising out of major cybersecurity events\nIncident response: The unresolved questions\nPrivacy and data security legislative and regulatory update\nWG11 town hall\n\nThe mission of Working Group 11 is to identify and comment on trends in data security and privacy law\, in an effort to help organizations prepare for and respond to data breaches\, and to assist attorneys and judicial officers in resolving questions of legal liability and damages.
