Position Summary: The Quality Control reviewer is responsible for assisting the Review Manager for planning and reporting on all phases of the project life cycle, including: compliance with work orders and contracts, chain of custody and materials tracking, financial and time-based projects and forecasts, billing and volume metrics, and reporting on project-level information. The Quality Control tasks include delegating work to the reviewers. The position acts as a liaison between the reviewers and the project managers and works closely with Senior Consultants, Project Analysts, and Operations staff.

 

Essential Job Duties:

  • Assist with overseeing projects from initial set-up to delivery of the finished product, with a focus on client relations and communications.
  • Work closely with client to set up projects, job turnaround estimates, and job specifications.
  • Work closely with the Review Manager and production staff to ensure proper allocation of resources based on deadlines and priorities.
  • Communicates with clients to resolve issues and provide status updates according to the client’s
  • needs.
  • Support Review Manager to ensure jobs are completed according to the client, industry standards, and that job specifications and deadlines are met.
  • Assign and/or perform quality control tasks
  • Provide training materials to document review team
  • On-site contact for document review team
  • Assist with document review team questions or escalate to Review Manager
  • Assign and/or coordinate review assignments for QC and non-QC reviewers
  • Manage work progress and provide feedback to document review team
  • Maintain document review issues log

 

Education and experience required:

  • J.D
  • Active U.S. Bar
  • At least three years experience in the legal services industry, preferably in a litigation support vendor or law firm litigation support department

 

Education and experience preferred:

  • Technical experience in eDiscovery platforms and tools
  • Previous leadership in document review work
  • Strong technical understanding and/or experience with eDiscovery process, life cycle, and technical issues
  • Must be proficient in utilizing the various functions and features of Relativity
  • Software application proficiency with Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills

 

Salary Range: $65,000-$85,000
