IT Specialist
HaystackID LLC is currently seeking an IT Specialist to join our highly successful IT team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor IT tickets in ServiceDesk
+ Handle or assign tickets to the appropriate team (applications support, engineering, development, or security)
- High volume time-critical user onboarding following company SOP including provisioning in:
+ AD and Azure AD
+ AD Group Policy changes
+ Office 365 and/or G-Suite (Gmail, Google Chat, Google Drive)
+ VMWare Horizon, Dizzion and/or AWS Workspaces
+ MS Authenticator, Google Authenticator and/or Duo
- Remote user laptop delivery, setup and troubleshooting following company SOP with InTune and configuration management tools.
- Remote user smartphone delivery, setup, and troubleshooting following company SOP and using MDM tools
- High volume time-critical user offboarding
- Troubleshoot and support enterprise systems and applications, operating systems, and peripherals.
- Coordinate service and support needs with vendors, partners, and internal support resources.
- Participate in security remediation and incident resolutions with technology and security teams.
- Create and maintain appropriate documentation and provide training to users on processes, procedures, and systems.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with various departments to understand and meet user needs.
- Consults with management to analyze needs for reporting, process improvement, and operational workflows.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Associates degree, certificate, and/or 2+ years of experience or equivalent work experience.
- Industry-recognized certifications (Microsoft, CompTlA, etc) highly desirable.
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the US.
Preferred Skills and Attributes
Working knowledge in the following areas/concepts:
- Windows Server and Windows desktop (current versions).
- Active Directory (User, Computer, Security Group and, Group Policy Objects), Office 365, and G-Suite.
- Networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, SMTP
- Understanding of security tools and software.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, including the ability to set and manage expectations.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities at one time and maintain a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to make independent decisions and demonstrate commitment to continued professional and personal development.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
